Request callbackThe D402 is our sturdy and reliable Class 4 Roller Brake Tester with 2000+ units in daily use across the UK. In standard configuration, the D402 can be used as a stand-alone brake tester for use in traditional MoT bays, however, it can also be upgraded at anytime with a four point weighing system to enable motorcycle testing and making it compatible with the new ATL One Man Test from the DVSA.
The chassis is manufactured to a very high standard and easily deals with the exteme demands of modern day testing. It has a load capacity of 3000kg and the whole test can be operated wirelessly using an RF remote control (no line-of-site required).
MoT Classes 1,2,3 and 4 approved, 4x4 testing as standard, auto efficiency calculation, radio frequency (RF) remote control, fully galvanised roller bed, optional control system layouts to suit individual premises.
With over 35 years of experience & more than 4000 premises using our products, we have the expertise to advise you on all your workshop needs.
Our Garage Equipment Association (GEA) accredited and qualified engineers will install your equipment and provide demonstrations as required. While we’re there, we’ll answer any questions you may have regarding operation and maintenance, and we’ll also share our best practices to ensure longevity.

hex headed bolts on top plates I have changed for domed Allen bolts as the hex bolts were too easy to trip over.
pity there isnt a selectable override to stop rollers cutting-out would be good for testing forward/backward play in suspension bushes etc
