Long Range PC Remote Control - Radio Frequency
The RFC-95 is our new radio frequency PC remote control. Designed specifically to be rugged and reliable, and with ease of use in mind, this compact handheld remote is ideal for heavy use in busy workshops.
Using Zigbee, the very latest in radio frequency control, the RFC-95 can operate reliably over an impressive 50m distance. Conventional infra-red systems (as found with most other equipment) are restricted to line-of-site, and usually with poor range. RF is a big benefit, especially when operating equipment from inside the vehicle. The user no longer has to point the remote; he can simply press the desired button to perform the required operation.
The RFC-95 is quick to install and easy to use, and because the control replicates most of the key functions that are found on a standard PC keyboard, the user simply presses the desired key to achieve the desired function. It also has a high-powered neodymium magnet for easy storage on the lift post (or any other steel surface) when not in use.
The RFC-95 is designed to operate Boston's SW900 test lane control software; however it can also be used to control any PC running standard Microsoft Windows operating systems. This flexibility allows the RFC-95 to operate virtually any PC based equipment, emissions analysers or brake testers, or other types of equipment in the workshop regardless of the manufacturer.
