8 Direction Pit Mounted Hydraulic Play Detector
PD318 is our newly introduced, top of the range 18T commercial play detector. Sturdy, powerful and built to last, the PD318 is packed with a host of features that put it in a class of its own.
The PD318 is operated using our BTC7W wireless torch control. It allows the operator to check for excess travel or wear in suspension and steering components in exactly the same way, but with extra directional plate movements available.
The equipment is supplied with two moving plate assemblies, easy to fit installation cartridges, a hydraulic control unit and a rugged hand-held wireless torch control. There are a number of operational modes that allow each moving plate to be operated independently in any direction, or both plates together in opposite directions. Both plates can move in the X and Y directions and also diagonals thus enabling 8 directions per plate!
The PD318 truly is a high quality commercial play detector for busy, demanding workshops.
